STEPS FOR UPDATING GARMIN NUVI 2789LMT:

Garmin express provides easy access to update your device.
It includes:

• Product registration
• Software and map update
• Product update
• Vehicle and voices

SETTING UP GARMIN EXPRESS

STEP-1:

DOWNLOAD GARMIN EXPRESS: First of all you have to download Garmin express in your computer system.

Select an option:

1. To install on a Windows computer, select Download for Windows.
2. To install on a Mac computer, select Mac Version.

STEP-2: 

CONNECT GARMIN DEVICE INTO YOUR SYSTEM: 3rd step is Connect your Garmin device to your computer using a USB cable. The Garmin Express software detects your device. Enter an email address for product registration (optional). Email address is compulsory for those users who do not sign up in Garmin. After registration, Click save device.

STEP-3:
INSTALL GARMIN EXPRESS:
After you connected your device with the computer system, install the Garmin express software in your computer system for the next step and process.

STEP-4:

CHECK FOR UPDATES: Next and last step is checking for the updates in your Garmin Nuvi device. Click check for updates. A list of available map and software updates appears.  

STEP-5:

ACCEPT TERMS AND INSTALLATION: In this last step, you can see some terms and conditions for installing the update. Click on "I AGREE". After clicking on this option, your new maps are starting install in your GPS device.
